Job Description

This is a great opportunity for a proactive Product Manager to lead our Power Quality and UPS portfolio. You’ll manage suppliers, drive product development, oversee lifecycle and inventory, and support marketing and sales efforts. This role is perfect for someone with strong technical insight and a passion for delivering innovative solutions to market.

Reporting to the Business Manager, this position is based in our office at Wetherill Park.

About the role:

  • Understanding the Australian market for Power Quality & UPS, including analysing key competitors, complying with standards and legislative requirements, and developing and implementing business and marketing plans.
  • Managing supplier relationships, product lifecycle (including launches, obsolescence, and quality), inventory, and pricing strategies, while identifying and introducing new products to drive growth.
  • Providing technical guidance by maintaining deep application knowledge, supporting the sales team with tenders and technical queries, and acting as the key point of contact for customers and suppliers.
  • Delivering technical training, ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System, resolving product or quality issues with suppliers, and promoting a safe and professional working environment.
     

Desired Skills and Experience

About you:

  • Electrical Engineer or Trade Qualified Electrician
  • Previous experience in a Product Management role (preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience in sales, Presales, solution engineering or technical consulting role.
  • Ability in Proof-of-Concept development and building of solution demonstrations.
  • Familiarity with design tools, industry software and technical documentation platforms
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Problem solving mindset with a customer focused approach.
  • Experience with CRM for tracking customer interactions
  • Proven communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent time management and planning skills.
  • Requirement to travel as needed.
