We're looking for a hands on Switchboard Assembler to join our team in Wetherill Park. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the role will play a key part in delivering high-quality electrical products.
About the role:
You will be responsible for ensuring all switchboards and products are assembled in line with approved construction drawings and meet IPD’s quality standards before dispatch.
- Assembling switchboards and various electrical products according to drawings and specifications.
- Wiring and testing products to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Adhering to all workshop processes and safety procedures.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
- Performing other reasonable duties as directed by the Workshop Manager.
About you:
- Knowledge of AS/NZS 61439 and AS3000 standards
- Proficient in reading SLDs and wiring schematics
- Strong time management; able to meet tight deadlines
- Works well under pressure, independently and in a team
- Organised, detail-oriented, and tidy with paperwork
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, responsible, and quality-focused
