Job Description
Manage month-end, bi-annual and year-end financial close processes, including accruals, reversals, and General Ledger reconciliations
Run sub-ledger/module reports (AP, AR, FA, Inventory) and reconcile balances with the General Ledger, ensuring timely resolution of variances.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies; ensure timely submission of tax returns (VAT, PAYE, income tax, etc.).
Assist with audits, regulatory reporting, and ad hoc finance assignments as required.
Desired Skills and Experience
Fully qualified in a professional accounting qualification such as CA Sri Lanka (CASL), ACCA, CIMA.
Minimum of 4 years’ post-qualification experience in Financial Accounting, including strong exposure to month-end closures, reconciliations, and audit support.
Sound knowledge of IFRS/IAS standards and financial reporting practices
Proficiency in MS Office with advanced Excel skills.
