Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to join our high-performing, fast-paced sales team as a Technical Sales Advisor. In this role, you will have the chance to expand your technical expertise in hazardous areas. 

  • Managing customer enquiries made via phone and email  
  • Understanding customer requirements, articulating the products, services and solutions EX provides with credibility & confidence 
  • Collaborating with the EX Team to provide the best solution 
  • Providing quotes, creating work orders, billing of materials in line with EX service levels using our ERP system NetSuite 
  • Developing your understanding of Hazardous Area products and concepts 
  • Collaborating with our engineering / drafting & workshop teams to design & build solutions 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical sales role 
  • Great communicator via phone and email 
  • Interest in developing their understanding of Hazardous Areas 
  • Motivated to understand the technical concepts of our products and services 
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment meeting service levels 
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and always looks to provide the best outcome for the customer 
  • Strong team player / enjoys team collaboration and success 
  • Proven ability / desire to build high level of technical knowledge 
  • Demonstrable written, verbal communication skills 
  • Displays curiosity, drive and willingness to understand Hazardous Areas 
  • Advanced skills in using ERP, Microsoft systems 
  • Undertake a pre-employment medical  
  • Police Clearance Certificate
