Job Description

We are seeking a keen self-starting, highly motivated and performance-oriented type person to join our team as an Electrical Tester/ General Factory Assembler. In this role, you will be undertaking compliance testing and general product assembly in line with client and statutory requirements.


Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is currently based out of Keysborough and will be relocating to Noble Park.

About the role:
•    Performing high voltage testing on plant, tools, and equipment to ensure safety and compliance with standards.
•    Conducting test, calibration, repair, and adjustment of inspection, measurement, and test equipment.
•    Communicating effectively with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet agreed performance standards.
•    Completing all work accurately and on time, ensuring precision and repeatability in all tasks.
•    Providing detailed stock usage, sales, or requirements information to management, stores, or administration.
•    Traveling to remote sites or locations as needed, ensuring work is completed in various environments and adhering to safety and operational standards.
 

Desired Skills and Experience

•    Qualifications in Electrical / instrumentation / Electronics desirable but not essential 
•    Previous experience in the Electrical / instrumentation / Electronics / Calibrations or Processing fields desirable but not essential
•    Willingness to learn / upskill 
•    Customer focused in all aspects of work 
•    High level of written and verbal communication skills 
•    Be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to safety 
•    Willingness and ability to travel and work irregular hours as required; 
•    Basic computer literacy skills 
•    Ability to work autonomously and part of a team 
•    Must have a current State issued car drivers licence, minimum level P Plate. HR Truck license desirable but not essential or willingness to obtain
