Are you a strategic and hands-on marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced B2B environment? 

At IPD Group, we are looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager to lead the development and execution of marketing plans and initiatives across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping how our brands connect with customers and grow in the market.

Reporting to the General Manager - Marketing & Communications, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, influence business outcomes, and deliver end-to-end marketing initiatives that make a real difference.

About the role:

As the Marketing & Communications Manager, you will lead the delivery of integrated marketing strategies across multiple brands, ensuring alignment with business objectives while driving measurable results.

  • Developing and executing annual marketing plans aligned with commercial objectives across multiple brands 
  • Supporting business leaders in articulating clear and compelling value propositions 
  • Planning and delivering integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, email, social, and events 
  • Creating high-quality marketing content and sales collateral to support business growth 
  • Collaborating with creative and digital teams to ensure timely and high-standard campaign delivery 
  • Driving lead generation and contributing to measurable commercial outcomes 
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders including GMs, sales, and product teams to align marketing initiatives 
  • Managing relationships with external agencies, suppliers, and event partners 
  • Acting as the central coordination point for marketing requests and prioritisation 
  • Tracking and reporting on campaign performance, customer engagement, and brand metrics 
  • Ensuring all marketing activities align with business goals and support sales outcomes 
  • Leading and mentoring a marketing team, while collaborating across internal functions 
  • Contributing to group-wide marketing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

Desired Skills and Experience

About You:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a B2B marketing role
  • Experience in the industrial, electrical, or manufacturing sectors preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple brands and stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with digital channels, events, and campaign/launch planning
  • Comfortable working independently while part of a broader team structure
