Job Description

IPD is seeking an experienced and driven Receiving Supervisor to lead and manage all incoming goods to our Wetherill Park warehouse. This is more than just a receiving role – it’s a leadership opportunity to streamline processes, elevate team performance, and ensure every shipment is handled safely, accurately, and on time.

About the Role:

As Receiving Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse receiving operations, ensuring shipments are processed efficiently, safely, and in line with company standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supporting the warehouse team in day-to-day receiving operations
  • Managing the receipt and accurate processing of local and international shipments
  • Preparing Shipment Detail Reports (SDRs) and maintaining stock documentation
  • Monitoring and logging put-away activities and stock relocations
  • Maintaining optimal pick-face stock levels and high housekeeping standards
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and WHSE standards
  • Safely operating and overseeing warehouse equipment (forklifts, trolleys, wave pickers, etc.)
  • Responding promptly to shipment enquiries and coordinating with Purchasing on issues
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, including barcode labeling and RF scanning projects
  • Providing backup support for RMA processing as required
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain productivity and accuracy

  • Proven warehouse experience with team leadership
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and takes ownership of results
  • Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
  • Approachable, professional, and team-oriented
  • Forklift licence (desirable)
  • Experience with Pronto (desirable) and RF scanning systems
