Are you passionate about precision, quality, and hands-on electrical work? IPD is looking for a Trade Assistant – Electrical Distribution Board to help us deliver top-quality switchboards and electrical products to our clients.
About the role:
As a Trade Assistant, you will:
- Assembling switchboards and various products within the allowed labour time.
- Adhering to all established processes and quality standards.
- Keeping the workshop clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
- Performing other reasonable duties that may be required of you from time to time at the discretion of the Workshop Manager
About You:
- Awareness of standards AS/NZS61439 & AS3000
- Ability to interpret electrical SLD and wiring schematics
- Ability to work autonomously as well as a part of a team
- Strong time management skills to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
- Orderly and organised with paperwork
- Reliable, responsible, and attentive to details
