Due to significant growth, IPD is seeking a Creative Studio Manager to lead our brand architecture and creative processes across all businesses and channels. This strategic and operational role gives you the opportunity to shape, create, and deploy our brand strategy, lead a talented creative team, and influence the leadership team. 

Reporting directly to the General Manager – Marketing & Communication, this full-time position is open to our offices in Wetherill Park, NSW and Brisbane Airport, QLD.

About the role:

As the Creative Studio Manager, you will oversee our in-house creative operations and ensure the seamless execution of all creative projects from planning and resource allocation to final delivery. You will collaborate with all our business units, ensuring communications effectively showcase our industrial products and services to a B2B audience. 

  • Managing the creative project lifecycle from initial brief through to completion, implementing and optimising workflows to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Overseeing daily resource allocation and workload scheduling, assigning projects to the in-house creative team and engaging external freelancers or vendors when required.
  • Acting as the primary liaison between the creative team and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of project objectives, timelines, and progress updates.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to define, maintain, and evolve the company’s brand architecture across a diverse portfolio of industrial products and services.
  • Ensuring all creative outputs meet high quality standards and maintain brand consistency across all channels.
  • Providing hands-on creative support in design, editing, or copywriting during peak periods or critical project deadlines.
  • Developing and managing the studio budget, tracking project expenses, processing invoices, and negotiating with external suppliers and vendors.
  • Leading, motivating, and mentoring a remote creative team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Identifying workflow bottlenecks and process gaps, implementing improvements using project management tools, data insights, and AI to enhance creative efficiency and outcomes.
     

Desired Skills and Experience

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in studio management, project management, or operations within a creative environment, ideally in a B2B or industrial sector.
  • Hands-on experience with brand architecture and brand strategy is essential.
  • Strong understanding of industrial B2B marketing challenges, products, and processes, with the ability to translate complex technical information into compelling content.
  • Strong operational management and strategic brand thinking.
  • Practical creative skills, including proficiency in copywriting, video production, and editing.
  • Expertise with project management software (e.g., Monday.com) and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design and production tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Strong leadership skills and working experience leading a team remotely.
