Job Description

Due to significant growth, IPD is seeking an experienced and dynamic Digital Experience Manager to drive our digital evolution across all businesses and channels. This is a newly created position, offering the opportunity to shape our digital roadmap, enhance customer engagement, and influence the leadership team with innovative ideas and solutions.

Reporting directly to the General Manager – Marketing & Communication, this full-time position is open to our offices in Wetherill Park, NSW and Brisbane Airport, QLD.

About the role:

As the Digital Experience Manager, you will oversee and optimise IPD Group’s online presence including websites, mobile apps, social media, and intranets to deliver seamless, engaging, and user-centric experiences. Leveraging data-driven insights to align digital initiatives with brand and business objectives, while driving innovation, performance optimization, and continuous improvement across all digital touchpoints.

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive digital and UX strategy that supports business goals, balancing mid-to-long-term roadmaps with immediate enhancements.
  • Mapping end-to-end user journeys, identifying experience gaps and pain points, and leading usability testing, wireframing, and prototyping to deliver intuitive, user-first interfaces.
  • Monitoring, analysing, and interpreting platform performance metrics such as load times, conversion rates, and user engagement to inform ongoing optimisation.
  • Collaborating closely with creative and content teams to ensure a consistent brand voice, design language, and user experience across all digital channels.
  • Defining project scope, managing timelines, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver new features, upgrades, and continuous improvements.
  • Partnering with IT to implement, manage, and optimise CMS, CRM, and analytics platforms, ensuring seamless and scalable digital interactions.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, working closely with Marketing Operations, Sales, Customer Service, and IT to maintain a unified digital vision.
  • Managing digital project budgets, ensuring initiatives are delivered efficiently and within financial parameters.
  • Leading, mentoring, and supporting a remote team of two web developers and one project manager, fostering collaboration, capability development, and a high-performance culture.
     

Desired Skills and Experience

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or digital technology; MBA or master’s in a design-related field is a plus.
  • Proven track record in digital product management, project management, or marketing within an industrial B2B environment.
  • Strong knowledge of web/mobile technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), CMS platforms (WordPress, Commerce Vision, Adobe Experience Manager), and marketing automation tools.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics), A/B testing, and user research to inform decisions.
  • Expertise in SEO and PPC strategies to boost visibility and manage paid campaigns.
  • Skilled in wireframing, prototyping, and creating intuitive user journeys.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong leadership skills and working experience leading a team remotely.
