Job Description

Drive Product Success Through Strategic Channel Excellence

We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity to join our Product Management team as a Product Manager for a diverse range of products, including Enclosures & Thermal Management, Weatherproof Switchgear, Fusegear & Wiring Accessories.

You will be responsible for working closely with our sales team to implement channel strategies that deliver profitable growth through the Wholesaler channel.

Reporting to the Business Manager – Power Distribution & Management, this role is open to our offices across Australia including Wetherill Park (NSW), Brisbane (QLD) and Noble Park, (VIC), and offers the chance to make a real impact.

About the role: 

In this role, you will be responsible for developing key supplier relationships, working closely with our Wholesale sales team in implementing channel strategies to drive profitable growth. And importantly, managing the product lifecycle and day-to-day activities to support the offer.

  • Product Lifecycle management: Management of the product offer, including inventory & pricing
  • Channel Focus: Working closely with the sales team to develop and implement key strategies that drive profitable growth through the Wholesale channel.
  • Market Intelligence: Maintaining a high level of understanding of the Australian market, including competitor activity, technology advancements and relevant industry standards & specifications.
  • Technical Expertise: Maintaining a high level of technical expertise to support our internal teams and customers.
  • Sales Enablement: Working with sales & customers to define and develop sales enablement tools, including specification documents, product selectors, relevant content on our digital platforms (website, eCommerce etc)  

Desired Skills and Experience

About You:

  • Proven experience in a product manager role 
  • Previous experience working with Wholesale customers
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing channel focused strategies- specifically via Wholesale channel 
  • Electrical Engineer, Trade-Qualified Electrician, or equivalent industry experience 
  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Working knowledge of digital platforms (CRM, ERP etc)  
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
  • Ready to travel and drive results across diverse markets
