            Are you passionate about electrical products and ready to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for a detail-oriented Product Engineer to join our team, supporting the day-to-day management of our Distribution Boards portfolio.
Reporting to the Manager – DB and Assembly, this role is based in our Wetherill Park office and involves working closely with cross-functional teams, driving innovation, ensuring quality, and supporting growth across our Distribution Boards range.
About the role:
The role will focus in assisting in shaping our product offering from concept to customer while maintaining a strong understanding of the Australian market, technical standards, and application requirements.
	- Supporting the Product Manager in managing the full product lifecycle from development and implementation to launch and in creating and delivering business and marketing plans.
 
	- Assisting in training sales and technical teams on product features, applications, and competitive advantages.
 
	- Maintaining and updating all product-related documentation, including data, drawings, specifications, datasheets, and marketing materials.
 
	- Collaborating with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to ensure timely product availability and pricing accuracy.
 
	- Ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System for product specifications, development, and change control.
 
	- Working safely and professionally at all times while upholding company values and stand
 
	- Understanding the Australian market for Distribution Boards (up to 630A), analysing competitors, and keeping up to date with standards and legislative requirements.
 
	- Maintaining a high level of technical and application knowledge across all product types.
 
         
        
                
            About you:
	- Electrical Engineer or Trade Qualified Electrician
 
	- Preferably with experience in a Product Management or Technical Sales role
 
	- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CAD tools and ERP systems an advantage
 
	- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
 
	- Strong technical background and a commercial mindset
 
	- Analytical, organised, and solutions-focused
