Due to internal promotion, we are currently seeking a results-driven Sales Development person to join our sales team on a full-time basis to grow and develop the HVAC customer segment. This position reports directly to the State Sales Manager and is based at our Welshpool, WA office.
About the role:
You will be responsible for driving the growth of ACH580 drive sales and you will be focusing on developing strong customer relationships and promoting IPD’s comprehensive range of products and services, positioning us as a trusted partner in the industry.
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve targets for VSD products in the HVACR market
- Identifying and engaging potential clients through cold calling, networking, and industry events.
- Maintaining high-level sales and technical knowledge of IPD products and solutions.
- Generating sales call reports and manage quotations in CRM systems.
- Providing market feedback to Sales Manager, General Manager, and Product Marketing Group.
- Ensuring effective representation of IPD in designated customer channels/sectors and coordinate sales visits with product managers/specialists.
About you:
- Qualifications in HVACR, Electrical, or Mechanical fields is highly desirable
- Previous experience in sales within the HVACR industry is highly regarded
- A solid understanding of contract and tendering processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage KPIs, sales margins, and performance metrics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Demonstrated communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent time management and planning abilities
- Willingness and ability to travel regionally to meet with client
