Job Description

We seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Storeperson to join our team in Fairfield, NSW. In this role, you will be responsible in receiving and dispatching goods into and out of the stores in a manner that prevents damage to goods and to maintain the stores in a healthy and functional manner.

About the role

  • Receiving and dispatching stock, unrolling, rerolling, measuring, cutting cable to order, relabeling drums, accepting materials after inspection, and releasing conforming products for use or resale.
  • Storing products safely and tidily, keeping aisles and exits clear, maintaining tools and equipment, and conducting routine equipment maintenance to ensure operational safety.
  • Supporting team objectives, maintaining good working relationships with staff, and acting cooperatively to promote a productive, team-oriented environment.
  • Identifying and reporting suspect or non-conforming products, initiating action to prevent product issues, and informing supervisors of potential quality, safety, or environmental risks.
  • Maintaining accurate work records, performing receipt inspections, and complying with company guidelines, policies, and QHSE procedures.
     

Desired Skills and Experience

About you 

  • Current Forklift driver’s qualification. 
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, to work within guidelines and procedures and to provide a quality customer service. 
  • Ability to prioritise and plan workflow to achieve outcomes within identified timeframes. 
  • Ability to maintain accurate work records. 
  • Ability to follow quality assurance and workplace health and safety practices as applied in the working environment
