CMI Electrical Products distributes to Industrial, Commercial, Wholesalers, OEM and Utilities markets.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated Internal Sales Representative to join our team. Reporting directly to the State Sales Manager –QLD, this role will be based at our office in Brendale, Queensland. 

About the role:

As an Internal Sales Representative, you will be a key point of contact for our customers, ensuring professional, efficient, and high-quality service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Answering all incoming customer calls professionally and efficiently.
  • Educating customers on our product range and offering tailored product solutions.
  • Processing customer orders, including raising delivery dockets, invoices, and quotations.
  • Assisting with costing and advising customers on product types to meet their requirements.
  • Managing and nurturing relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Providing accurate product descriptions, quality data, and material recommendations.
  • Reporting product quality enquiries, non-conformances, and customer complaints to the National Sales Manager, and following up to ensure resolution.
  • Raising RMAs for returned goods and incident reports, ensuring management sign-off.
  • Maintaining accurate sales records and supporting the team efficiently.
  • Following CMI guidelines, procedures, and QHSE policies, working safely and responsibly, and identifying opportunities to improve quality, safety, and environmental performance
     

Desired Skills and Experience

About you:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical cable sales or the electrical wholesaling sector
  • Strong ability to follow instructions, guidelines, and procedures while delivering excellent customer service
  • Skilled in prioritising and planning workflow to meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain accurate records
  • Committed to following quality assurance, workplace health, and safety practices
