Job Description
Addelec Power Services Pty Ltd is an electrical contractor that provides maintenance and services across a wide range of Services. We are specialists in industrial high and low voltage electrical services and include installation, maintenance, testing, commissioning, and calibration of Sub-Station equipment.
Addelec Power Services is a national service provider who work collaboratively with the Client from the initial briefing through to completion of our works. We optimize and create value within the specific project/site scope, whilst mitigating risk.
We are currently seeking an experienced LV Technician / Electrician with strong expertise in electrical installation, service, and maintenance, particularly across main switchboards, power factor and active harmonic filter systems, air circuit breakers, VSD drives and EV Chargers.

Based at our Noble Park Victoria office, you will be part of a small dynamic team were working together and creating a positive culture is key. You will work closely with the Operations team and clients, taking ownership of site work that you manage, whilst ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards are consistently met or exceeded.
About the role:
In this role, you will be performing a variety of tasks such as installation, maintenance and troubleshooting while ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
Conducting LV and HV testing, maintaining plants, tools, and electrical equipment
Installing, monitoring, and maintaining LV and HV electrical systems while identifying and correcting hazards
Repairing, testing, and troubleshooting HV, MV, and LV electrical circuits
Inspecting and diagnosing complex electrical systems, including relay calibration and power metering
Reading, interpreting, and updating electrical schematics, panel schedules, and control drawings
Ensuring compliance with all safety standards, regulations, and company procedures
Communicating with customers, contractors, and suppliers to maintain service and safety standards
Reporting incidents, accidents, and property damage promptly
Documenting maintenance activities, repairs, and system upgrades accurately
Maintaining tools and equipment while supporting continuous safety and environmental improvements
Irregular travel is a part of this role and as such you must be flexible to meet client needs for travel to regional and interstate sites as required.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You:
Qualifications in Electrical, instrumentation, or Electronics desirable but not essential
Current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence
Valid driver’s licence (minimum P Plates)
Familiarity with IT systems and standard office or technical software applications
Proven experience working with HV apparatus in the electrical field
Strong background in LV/HV switchgear, transformers, and HV testing and maintenance
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics confidently
Ability to work autonomously and take full ownership of site work
Energetic, self-motivated, and committed to delivering high standards of work
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with clients and stakeholders
